| Abstract |
?Importance of school facilities` environmental color has been increased in terms of students` development and comfort. The information for color planning and design of school facilities is needed. This study attempts to find out students`s attitudes about color and their environmental color. For this purpose, the field survey has been carried out to investigate the exterior and interior color of their schools, user`s satisfaction about them and user`s preferred color image of school facilities based 815 students of public school in Seoul. The major findings are as follows: First, as to the present status survey on school facilities, the use of environmental color is very passive and limited. Second, the students are dissatisfied with their environmental color of school facilities and require betterment of them. Third, the preferred environmental color image of school facilities has a tendency to warm, light, familiar, soft, and simple. Colors whose hue is blue and tone is very pale are identified with the most preferred color. |
