This study was conducted with a qualitative analysis using the literature research method, and statistical analysis was applied partly. 120 articles from domestic academic journals were collected and analyzed by the published journals, keywords, contents of research, and research methods. The results are as followings; 1) The academic journal trend was initially focused on engineering field, but gradually diversified and expanded to complex fields and arts-sports field. 2) The main topics and contents were mostly related to the physical environments, but they were gradually diversifying into non-physical elements with the revision of the Library Law in 2006. 3) In terms of the research methods, case studies with literature data were the most common methods.
