Abstract |
Renovation projects targeted at this study use past and memory as the primary means of design. In recent years, it is a trend that actively reflects the concept of place, which is a popular code that symbolizes past images and gradually but only repeats and changes in the same way. This causes 'loss of experience and isolation'. Benjamin's history philosophy seeks to create a new origin by meeting past requests and requests for present reforms, not the reminiscence of one-time appreciation of this past. This study presents the concept of 'perception-image' by analyzing Benjamin's perception of history and time perspective from a methodical point of architectural design aimed at regenerating. From this point of view, the relevant regeneration cases are selected. Through a case study, the perception-image of architectural space is a montage of the past and the present, which is a space for creating new meaning, and at the same time, the possibility of a unified experience space of the lost mind and body through the application of specificity, abstractness, location and space, sensuality, music, story, boredom and spontaneity were identified. |
