Abstract Recently, landscape design has been emphasized in the architectural field. Since 2005, architecture artwork projects have been evolved within digital and I.O.T technology as a new paradigm through the influence of new media arts. Architecture Media artwork projects represent apparently differences in the part of structure/surface material, work process, characteristics of expression, and technique. Despite the differences between the new architecture artwork and architecture media artworks were treated as the samely produced process of architecture artwork/structure in the operative building and enforcement ordinance. The method of this research is as follow. Firstly, It was analyzed for the concepts, characteristics, changing building acts, the whole production process of architecture, and architecture media artwork projects based on the case study and literature review. Secondly, it extracted two main characteristic factors based on the analyzing architecture media artwork projects, it would be classified the case studies. It shows the key features of new media art, which are characteristics of unlimited expression for artwork’s surface, technical aspect in the program and device of artworks because both architecture media facade and architecture media artwork have common appearances as new media art. As a result, these nine case studies are defined remarkable differentiation in indoor and outdoor architecture media artworks. Also, nine case studies are analyzed the distinction between architecture artwork and architecture media artwork through the analyzing process. Moreover, this research proposes and suggests solutions and alternatives for the sustainability of artwork and architecture media artwork.
