Abstract |
The research aim is enhancing the efficiency of color design by proposing the construction and utilization of BIM-based color design information. First of all, the target of color design is selected, analyzed, and the concept is drawn and the color palette is presented. Afterwards, the database of each individual color that forms a color palette is linked to the BIM program to conduct immediate visualization and manage color data. Based on the color design information established thereafter, the visual programming algorithm is created and applied to create additional color design alternatives. The advantages of building and utilizing information of color design such as these are first, the status of color design can be real-time, and immediate change and application of detailed elements can be made. Second, by numericalizing the color design elements, it can find out various information such as the Value and chroma. Third, creating visual programming algorithms using object information from BIM can create various color design plans, which enable users to explore various alternatives faster and more efficiently in the direction of design work, and support immediate communication between designers and clients through visualization of immediate alternatives. |
