| Abstract |
Nowadays, world populations are increasingly moving from country to urban centers, many people are pursuing life in a big city, and in order to improve the quality of life. This led to a surge in urban population in the pursuit of urban life, resulting in a sharp rise in urban housing prices. In the case of Mongolia, the population has increased, and the number of houses has increased and it is difficult to buy private homes. It is necessary to efficiently utilize narrow spaces to solve these social problems. This study aims to analyze the convergence of various functions and smart technologies of furniture and seek the application of smart furniture for efficient utilization of small apartments. This study examined the definition of smart furniture for space utilization and analyzed the composition of small apartment furniture through theoretical consideration of small apartment. Through a case study, we found that in modern society the heavy furniture favored by the previous generation was not practical. It was found that smart households were important to identify the needs of residents' lifestyles and living conditions and to use small spaces efficiently. It proposes furniture that can be freely transformed according to the structure, size and necessity of space. |
