The research methods are as follows: First, we surveyed the current status of community facilities of apartments specializing in childcare and the facilities of previous studies presented for the purpose of childcare specialization. Second, we derived community facilities based on the first survey data and examined newly married couples’ lifestyles, trends and preferences of community facilities. The result of the quantitative survey of lifestyle and preferences of 27 community facilities reported that the couples wanted more children if they had children. However, they gave up childbirth due to the difficulties of parenting and work life, and the difficulty of single parenting, and all household worried about childcare in case of sickness or emergency. |
