Abstract |
The purpose of this study The purpose of this study is to analyze the application status of Crime Prevention through Environmental Design (CPTED) in large apartment complexes built after the application of CPTED was mandated. To this end, a case analysis was conducted on six apartment complexes completed in 2018 in Manseong New Town, Jeonju through a field survey. As a result, although the six complexes were located in adjacent locations, the number of households, land area, and the layout of residential buildings were different from each other, and one of the complexes was built as public rental housing. As a result of analyzing the application status of CPTED through 80 evaluation items, the CPTED technique was best applied in the E and D cases, which are large complexes (D&E), public rental houses (D), and adjacent complexes (E). For each space, the CPTED technique was successfully applied in the order of the garbage dump, the main entrance and the corridor and stairs of the residential building, and the main entrance of the complex. The results of this study are meaningful in that they showed the effect of the mandated application of CPTED in the planning of apartment complexes. This study can be used as basic data for the balanced development and application of CPTED techniques applicable to apartment complexes to be built in the future. |
