Abstract |
The exhibition strives to provide various experiential elements as part of cultural life in modern society. Therefore, the exhibition space should basically be the result of interaction with users who watch it without hurting the purpose of 'exhibition'. Tadao Ando expresses his own architectural language deeply in his architecture and also shows each different results depending on the use and purpose of each building. Therefore this study intended to analyze the compositional characteristics of his exhibition space based on the architectural language of Tadao Ando. As a result of analyzing the examples of his exhibition presented through this perspective in this study, his exhibition space composition characteristics are as follows. First, he is composed to harmonize with the environment in the exhibition space. Second, a concise introduction is used as a boundary between the outside and the inside. Third, it intentionally designs the route to provide an experiential space. Fourth, it actively introduces nature into the exhibition space, giving visitors a direct experience. It can be seen that Tadao Ando is able to express his own architectural language to reflect appropriately in exhibition space flexibly according to its environment and purpose. |
