Abstract |
It is predicted that Korea will enter a super-aged society by 2025, with the proportion of the elderly population reaching 20.3%. Older people want to continue living in the area where they live. Therefore, it is important to consider the neighborhood in the permanent rental housing where the elderly who are very low income group primarily live. In particular, community facilities play an important role in increasing the living satisfaction of older people in rental housing. The purpose of this study is to investigate the distribution of community facilities in the neighborhood in order to propose efficient community facilities. In this paper, GIS is used to investigate the number and distance of community facilities around permanent rental housing. Based on the results of the GIS analysis, the distribution of community facilities in the neighborhood of rental housing is evaluated. The results show that the distance to community facilities should be shortened, especially for the elderly. In addition, since the distribution of current community facilities is not diverse and is concentrated only in certain facilities. There is a need to provide diverse community facilities. In particular, there are very few cultural and leisure facilities and medical social welfare facilities. In addition, the southeast area has the longest distance from permanent rental housing to community facilities, and the northeast area has the closest distance to community facilities. |
