Abstract The purpose of this study is to develop an application contents personalized fall prevention home modification suggestion application based on the older adult’s physical status and housing condition. The health condition checklist, which was developed by three medical experts, included items about the senior’s musculoskeletal system, balance evaluation, and senility evaluation. They were evaluated by Five Times Sit to Stand Test (FTSST), the Timed Up and Go Test (TUG), the fatigue, resistance, ambulation, illness, and loss of weight (FRAIL) scale, and the Functional Reach Test. Three housing experts participated in compiling a housing condition checklist and fall prevention home modification items. This checklist included questions about whether the house had fall prevention housing design features in an entrance, living room, kitchen, master bedroom, master bathroom, and laundry room. A total of 81 fall prevention home modification options were derived. Some fall prevention home modification items included two possible options based on different budgets and/or construction methods. This personalized application was intended to simplify the process of home modification for older adults and service providers. It is necessary to evaluate the application’s effectiveness in the future.
