Abstract |
The purpose of this study is to analyze the learning effect of digital spatial expression by examining the characteristics of factual, descriptive, and continuous observation that appear when students apply the user’s observation editing method to the process of digital expression. First, the problems in the existing digital design education are examined and the necessity of user experiential learning is summarized. Next, the user’s observation concept was organized, and the user’s observation editing method was reviewed in the process of digital expression.
Finally, the effect of user observation and editing training on digital spatial expression was analyzed. The research results are as follows. 1) The students gave a positive evaluation to the factual observation learning that can realistically recognize the digital space through the user’s observation and editing activities. 2) The students improved their communication ability to perceive and express digital space descriptively through user observation and editing learning. 3) The students improved their expressive ability to simultaneously observe and edit 2D and 3D interior architectural information through the user’s observation and editing activities. 4) The value of this study is that it provided a learning model centered on user experience by applying the user’s observation editing method in the digital design curriculum. |
