Abstract |
Children’s traffic accidents are a big social problem, and problems are raised every year. School zones are generally designated within a 300-meter radius of the school. Currently, School zones are focusing only on quantitative installation in the name of safety, adding to confusion through excessive repetition. Therefore, it is necessary to plan an effective layout through a clear division of 100m, 200m, and 300m sections from the school gate, and the purpose is to identify the characteristics of traffic safety facilities according to the location and height. Therefore, the method of this study is as follows. A theoretical consideration was established on the concept of School zones and traffic safety facilities in School zones, and analysis items of the study were established based on the theoretical consideration, and symbols were established for each item. In addition, 18 administrative districts located in Gangnam-gu, Songpa-gu, and Yeongdeungpo-gu among the administrative districts located in Seoul Metropolitan Government were selected as survey targets, and photo data corresponding to each survey target was sought.
Based on the established schematic, was applied to the analysis items, and the current status analysis of the distance and height of traffic safety facilities in the school zones was conducted. In the future, based on this study, it is judged that research through virtual reality experiments can be conducted in the detailed form of roads and signs. |
