Abstract |
Buses are highly used as a means of public transportation that can be used even in cities where urban railroads do not pass, but there are problems in terms of comfort and safety, such as be exposureed directly and indirectly to smoke and fine dust while waiting. Recently, as a solution to urban problems caused by urbanization, smart bus stops are being built in each region of the project to spread smart city solutions conducted by the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, and Transport. Smart bus stops provide a convenient and safe environment by introducing various technologies and facilities to provide better services to public transportation users. However, even though smart bus stops are public facilities, there are no specific guidelines, and most regions simply purchase and install commercialized products other than smart city solutions. Therefore, this study aims to identify problems with smart bus stops and analyze the relationship between smart bus stops and various street facilities to find improvement direction. Finally, the purpose is to present efficient layout and suggestion of environmental improvement plan in terms of public facilities rather than focusing only on specific functions, which is meaningful in that it can be used as a basis and consideration for future application of smart bus stops. |
