Housing Needs for the 3-Generation-Sharing House in Reference to the Middle-Aged of Metropolis |
Abstract |
The purpose of this study is to verify housing needs for the 3-generation-sharing house in case of the middle living in the metropolis. Data was collected throughout the 6 metropolitan areas all around the country. 1279 data was analyzed by canonical correlation, factor analysis, multiple regression, probit analysis. The major findings of the study are as follows: 1. There are comparatively higher correlations between the family characteristics of the middle aged and their housing needs for the 3-generation sharing house. 2. The more influential family characteristics on the housing needs are the satisfraction of family relations, the socio-economic status, the preferences for living with their parents, and the housing tenure. 3 There is no remarkable difference of housing needs between the small cities and metropolis. |
