Abstract In this paper we concerned with the concrete floating floor construction, which is one of the most promising ways to control floor impact sound. We tried to analayze the effectiveness of this construction as precisely as possible by using the theories of vibration transmissiblity of the whole system. For the purpose of this study, the propagation characteristics of solid-borne sound in building structures are studied. In this study, the type of impact power wave, band power spectrum and velocity are vibration are decided, and studied the process of calculation for sound pressure level of the lower layer room.We divided the whole system into 3 parts. The upper part is impact sound source, the middle part is made up of the mass of floating screed and consist of the mass and spring of concrete floor slab, and the lower part is dwelling area of lower layer of apartment building. In the process of analaysis, we combined the whole frequency range of the upper part, but only the first order of resonance frequency band of the lower part so that the analysis may realize as well as reasonable.
