Abstract The purpose of this study is to propose basic data on heat flux calculation in Ondol heating floor structure as the floor types by experiment. In order to examine the thermalperformance of heating floor structure, four different experimental Ondol models are constructed. This study reports the results of temperature variation in the different types of structure through the measurements of temperatures at various points of them, respectively. Furthermore, this study presents the thermal response of Ondol heating floor structure accoding to the variation of hot water supply temperatures and the quantity of heat input.
