A study on The Dweller`s Consciousness for Residential Environment of Super high-rise Apartment |
| Abstract |
The purpose of this study is to review the characteristics of resident' evaluation of super high-rise apartment. The important elements of the environmental evaluation are analyzed according to stories, apartment unit size, lifestage. The sufficient lobby space in the enterance was greatly appreciated for better public service facilitation. The higher storey residents whose dwelling unit size is relatively small have higher satisfaction for the residential environment than the lower storey residents, while their response to the desire of moving to other places is relatively higher than expected. This fact may lead to the speculation that the residents' response to the dwelling unit size might be more sensitive than other elements of residential environment. Thus the more detailed study on the residents' sensitivity to the various elements of residential environment such as dwelling unit size and location would be proferable. |
