Thermal Characteristics by the Alteration of Cavity Structure |
| Abstract |
Traditional heating system, Ondol, has been used although the living style and structure of building have been changed. It hesitated cause of low thermal efficiency, however,lots of people use Ondol as a heating system. So, we need a suggestion by a sheer necessity of enheightning thermal efficiency of Ondol. Esperimenths were done for the purpose of picking out the most rational structure of thermal environment for coal-heated Ondol with reference to thermal changes by the cavity. C-shaped cavity is more effective on thermal efficiency than L-shaped or I-shaped and thermal efficiency increases as cavity becomes deeper and wider. |
