A Study on the Architectural Planning of Elementary School for Open Education |
Abstract |
Concurrent with changes in modern educational philosophy and methodology, open plan schools are coming to a new alternative plan. In relation to this trends, this study intended to know the present situations of our country in early stage. The results of this investigation are as follows; The composition of learning spaces is different in many countries though they have similar educational background. In our country, basic school organization of a classroom is U+V type reflexible to the physical facilities, however, they are generally insufficient. Chidren are grouped to a class unit of five to six. Each group includes about six children. A scale of the group is remarkably changed with a daily schedule. However, characteristic areas for learning objects are not physically divided yet. |
