| Abstract |
The study aims to develop passive solar energy retrofit strategies which are effectively suitable for existing apartment buildings in Korea. The research includes the design and the construction of retrofit schemes on existing apartment buildings in a real situation. An experiment has been performed to analyze the thermal performance of the retrofit, and the measured data have been compared with the result of computer simulation using [SUNCODE] program. The economic analysis has also been performed to evaluate the feasibility of the solar retrofit. |
