Title Modeling of Hourly Outdoor Temperature Variation

Abstract Identifying characteristics of heating and cooling systems requires estimation of thermal load of specific time intervals, especially in case that the system is operated intermittently, by using thermal storage, or in a partial load condition. Estimating the thermal load, however, needs to forecast hourly weather variation. In order to make a mathematical model of the hourly weather variation, this study evaluates changing patterns of hourly outdoor temperature on every day of the winter time. Categorizing variation characteristics of hourly outdoor temperature by the dimensionless process, it was possible to derive a model in fourier series.
