A Logit Analysis of Multiple Housing Deterioration |
| Abstract |
The purpose of this study is to identify the deteriorating factors in the apartment buildings. The data consisted of 176 apartment buildings in Seoul. Apartment characteristics, building characteristics, socio-economic conditions of the residents, and current maintenance programs were used to investigated the degree of deterioration for overall apartment. The logit model were used to determine the influence of the deterioration.The study concludes that the probability of the deterioration is strongly influenced by following factors: building age, maintenance fee, maintenance type, height, and number of children. |
