Abstract Eroticism was conceptualized as beginning in infancy by Frued, who concluded that the process of maturing involves redirecting this from oneself to the external world. And C.Jung focused on the concept of the universality and collective nature of some symbols including sex symbolism through studies of different cultures & religions. Contemporary erotic symbolism is normally experienced and expressed in many socially accepted forms such as dancing, advertising & fashion etc., and our internal spaces, both public and private, have been influenced in design also.Through a case study about service & resting spaces, such as HOTEL LOBBY, RESTAURANT, CAFE & BAR and GUEST ROOM, the followings are the conclusion.1.In HOTEL, erotic energy increases as following direction - LOBBY, RESTAURANT, CAFE & BAR, and the GUEST ROOM keeps the most soft & mild atmosphere. About the design elements to consider to make the space an erotic one, form, color and light effects are the most dominant ones to consider, which varies a little according to the locality.2.In the popular service & restintg spaces like RESTAURANT, CAFE & BAR and DISCO & NIGHT CLUB, the erotic energy increases as is in HOTEL by the similar design methods, but jumps to the top at the DISCO CLUB, which results from applying all the methodology to the extremes. The eros can be seen from a positive or a negative, but it must be accommodated at a higher lever to make human's life to be a better one, which is our problem.
