A Study on the Kyup-Jip of the mountain village in the southern district of Kang Won Province |
| Abstract |
The objective of this study is to examine the characteristics of the Kyup-Jip in five villages located on different geographical positions in the southern district of Kang Won Province.The Kyup0Jips in this district are classified into two types. One is the 전-shaped house which has its origin in Ham Kyung Province, the other is the house which has its origin in AN Dong district.The former has higher ratio of distribution than the latter, and the former is distributed more in the village near to the seaside district of Young Dong, on the other side the latter is distributed relatively more in deep mountain village.And the former has a trend that Maru is installed in the inner part of the houses which are in the village near to a seaside district of Young Dong. |
