| Abstract |
The application of knowledge-based system to the architectural design enhanced a logical knowledge representation method of architectural design language that could be applicable for computer aided design. For the reasonable solution of this problem, the concept of abstraction was introduced to the knowledge representation of architectural design, and the methodology of its application to the knowledge-based system of architectural design has been studied.The concept of abstraction for architetural design process was organized by dividing it into structural abstraction and behavioral abstraction. Knowledge representational tools for the abstraction concept were studied with graphic language abstraction and verbal language abstraction. Finally, architectural design process with abstraction concept and its application model were suggested. |
