| Abstract |
There are lots of obstacles in forecasting the demand of construction materials because construction activities are more irregular and unstable when they are compared with other economic sectors. Also it is impossible to explain the distributed time lag between the appearance time of construction business indicator and the consumption time of construction materials by means of statistical forecasting tools such as time series analysis, regression analysis method.The purpose of this study is to present reasonable forecast models, approached in engineering aspect, for the demand of construction materials. The EDF models which are developed in this study show more exellent forcasting power than conventional forcast models. |
