A Study on an Apartment Unit Planning Model Using Typological Knowledge |
| Abstract |
An apartment unit planning system which was conceptually applied with a modified SAR method has been suggested, for which 307 existing apaprtment floorplans were surveyed and analyzed through the graph theory and hierarchical cluster analysis method, and finally 71 floorplans by 21 basic floortypes were extracted and hierarchically and typologically classified.Finally, 14 flexible floorplan types could be produced as an upper abstraction concept of part hierarchy to existing floor plans and an apartment unit planning process with the suggested model has been organized. |
