Abstract The study aimed to present the fundamental data and alternatives for the thermal performance. So, laboratory test for three typical systems was undertaken. The heat transfer characteristics and thermal performance of each system were compared through the analysis of the experimental data.The results are summarized as follow.1) In A-type model, the effective utilization of the thermal storage effect of the panel and the improvement of the underside insulation(styrofoam) are suggested.2) In B-type model, the thermal improvement of the pipe, the heat transfering guard sheets and the heat radiating board is suggested to decrease the heat loss and the thermal resistance.3) In C-type model. the decrease of downward heat loss and the temperature differences on panel surface is encouraged to ensure the uniform surface temperature.
