| Abstract |
A series of lighting experiments for establishment the lighting standards and guides in VDT work spaces was carried out.This study has been carried out on two steps. Firstly, the questionnaire was carried out in order to extract the causes to visual interference in VDT work spaces. As a result of the questionnaire, we found the main cause of the visual interference was the reflected glare on the CRT screen by the lighting sources. Secondly, on the basis of the questionnaire, a subjective satisfaction experiment for protecting the reflected glare on the CRT screen by the lighting souces was carried out. As a result of the experiment, it was proved that the lighting source should be used louver lighting apparatus limiting the radiation luminance below 200cd/m2 of the ceiling lighting source. |
