Title |
A Behavior of Confined High-Strength Concrete Columns Subjected to Axial Forces and Flexure |
Abstract |
The seismic design of frame structures in based on the ductility approach that the study to improve of strength and ductility in concrete members in required. The major purpose of this paper is to study on the ultimate strength and ductility of the effective by rectilineary confined concrete area confining the tie bars of reinforced high-concrete columns subjected to axial force and flexure. In order to accomplish the purpose eight specimens in made of high-strength concrete columns designed of Fc=420 (kg/cm2) and tested as main variables of the ties spacing, the ratio of Load-Moment, the ratio of volumn of concrete core in cross section. In the experimental program, the column specimens is tested under flxure while subjected to eccentric loads. |
