Abstract It is essential for developing apartment construction simulation system to determine activity durations and construction process rule. Construction process rule of apartment is determined typically based on structural system and construction logic.But estimation activity duration with varing input resources necessitates many performance data which should be analysed statistically. This paper suggests an estimating method of activity duration by multiple regression and production factors using construction performance data from 24 sites.The results of this study are as belows;1) Through analysing influential factors on apartment construction, major factors impacting on the activity duration are identified.2) Regressing activity quantity and manpower on total floor area (m2) was performed. The obtained regression formulas are <3-1> ~ <3-9>.3) A method of estimating activity duration by regression formula and production coefficients is suggested.4) Through a case study, it was possible to estimate activity quantites and manpower with more than 90% accuracy. And activity duration can be estimated by the suggested method.
