A Study on the Systematization of Building Regulations Related to a Mass Housing Site Planning |
Abstract |
The building regulations and codes must be refered throughly from the early stage to the end of design. Because related regulations are scattered, and the hierachies among regulations are not ordered correctly in the current situations, it is very hard to find related regulations at once.When the related regulations are computerized systematically, they are more easily found, the efficency and quality of design will be improved, and the chance of misapplication of regulations will be decreased.In this paper the regulations and codes which are related to a mass housing site planning are structured for the purpose of computerization using the following procedures:1) Related regulations are gathered.2) Mass housing site plan elements are analyzed.3) Regulations and codes are grouped according to the design elements.4) A coding system is developed.5) Hierarchy among regulations is analyzed.6) Application priorties between related regulations are analyzed. |
