A Fundamental Study on the Architecture of Chinese Soewon |
Abstract |
Soewon of China originated in Tang dynasty and then took charge of keeping books. It became to take Charge of School at Song dynasty and there occurred over-establishing phenomenon of Soewon architecture from late Song dynasty and that phenomenon continued to Myong dynasty.In Chung dynasty there began arrangement movement and it disappeared. Soewon Architectures were usually built at ouside of castle or at the edge of city and the orientaion usually took around the south. They are composed by seven kings of space such as spiritual, educational, residential, administrational, service, traffic, book collection spaces.Their sacles are about from thirty Kan to forty Kan in the number of rooms. |
