A Flow Distribution of Traditional Ondol |
Abstract |
This research aims to analize principles and the sturcture of traditional Ondol in hydrodynamics and thermodynamics and lays emphasis on analizing the characteristics of flow distribution by the existence of pit and the alterations of inclination of flue bottom.In the case of arranging the pit space beside chimney, air flow and distribution are found to be bettered, stay time of flow in pit is loger than the case of no pit space. These findings may reveal that pit space enheightens the thermal efficiency of Ondol.In 3 gradient of flow bottom, flow speed is high. However, in 10 gradient and 16 gradient, flow speed is slow, Especially in 16 gradient of flow bottom, flow stay for a long time in compound space enheightens thermal efficiency of Ondol. Therefore 16 gradient of flow bottom is thought to be the most suitable for traditional Ondol. |
