| Abstract |
This paper is an analytical study on shear behavior of reinforced concrete beams without web reinforcement. Kim-woo's analytical study on shear behavior of reinforced concrete beams subjected to concentrated load is extended and applied to that of the beams subjected to uniform load.Analytical expressions can be developed for predicting the load and position of inclined shear crack on reinforced concrete beams subjected to uniform load. Using the existing experimental data, unknown constants of the expressions can be determined. And we investigate the difference between shear behavior of the simple beams subjected to concentrated load and that of the simple beams subjected to uniform load. |
