A Survey Study on the Utilization For the Leisure Facilities of the Urban Aged |
Abstract |
This study has surveied the leisure behavior and the condition of facility utilization of the urban aged. It purpose to lay the foundation for welfare leisure facility planning based on the findings from testing hypothesis of the previous studies. The end results are as follows. 1.They spend most of their time at real estate agents, sandlots, and sidewalks near from their residences. Hence, residential area is a major space of their leisure life. 2.The The meager utilization rate of local facilities is generally unfamiliarity of the facilities and their unsystematization. 3.Although "Pavilion for the aged' has been recognized as the most popular welfare leisure facilities for the urban aged, the utilization rate of facilities is low because of their indifference and low expectation. 4.'The preferable place' for the urban aged is where they can sing and dance with their cronies to their full satisfaction. |
