Title |
A Study on The Spatial Organization of The Housing Site Planning based on The Analysis of The Residents` Behavior |
Abstract |
Architects crucially need this type of knowledge to reduce the gap between their intention of providing physical layouts that people enjoy and what they actually believe. This research provides an empirical demonstration of "behavior" as an important fact. The goal of this research is to propose the organization based on user's behaviors in order to provide conceptual framework for future in the housing site planning. On the basis of my assumption is that residents' behaviors are influenced by the condition of the housing site planning. As a model of the case study, Banpo 1, Jamsil 5, Dunchon, Hwagok in Seoul and Unam in Kwang Ju were selected. This study argues that man-environment relationship is essential components of the people-place linkage in an urban neighborhood. This study suggests that it is possible to predict a wide range of behavior and social relationships through a provision of particular architectural layout. |
