The services of a construction engineering consultant are a kind of high technology-intensive activities in modern construction environments. Thus, The competent construction engineering consultant chould be selected by his technical capability. But, in Korea construcion engineering consultant tends to be selected mostly based on bid price rather than technical capability.This paper presents the improved selection methodology of the competent construction engineering consultant through prequalification(PQ), modified two envelope system(TES) and modified proposal evaluation criteria. |
