A Study on the Spatial Transformation of the Housing in Cheju Island |
| Abstract |
The present part of the study, which is divided into two parts(IV,V),is to find out the future direction of the housing plan in Cheju Island. It is tackled by looking into the relationship between spatial organisation and living pattern in urban housing. The present part(IV) analyses the spatial characteristics and the transformation process of urban housing. It can be said that whereas traditional space is formal, which results from division, the space of urban housing appears informal, which results from addition.In spite of the difference, they also show similarity in terms of the connection and configuration between rooms. |
