Abstract Consciously and unconsciously we construct our home interior in various ways. So the home interior reflects residents' attribute.Therefore this paper investigates the furnishing by housing class of apartment residents. According to the the survey results, the interior objects(furnishing) were classified into four categories: antique-natural objects, personal taste objects, furniture-equipment objects, enjoyment-display objects. There were significant differenced in interior objects by housing class. Subjects in the upper housing class selected more antique-natural oriented objects and tended to arrange more formal than those in the lower housing class. Subjects in the middle housing class seemed to follow the upper housing class style, but more and less interior objects were different from the upper class's. Subjects in the lower housing class personalized living room space with ordinary accessary.
