| Abstract |
The purpose of this study is (1)to analyze street system in high-density multi-family housing estate in terms of the Space Syntax Model;(2)to survey the sense of crowding, belonging and satisfaction of parking; (3)to test the validity of the methodologies in the Space Syntax Mode.As the results, the followings are suggested. 1).The wheel type street system was the best in terms of connectivity, integration and intelligibility from the Space Syntax Model.2).Also, this type had the lowest perception of crowding and the highest convenience of parking.3).So, Planners can use the Space Syntax Model to improve site environment by heightening spacial characteristics such as connectivity, integration and intelligibility. |
