A Study on the Development and Durability of High Strength Concrete |
Abstract |
This study is aimed for the development of high strength concrete(Fc=500kg/cm2)by using high-range water-reducing admixture and the analysis of the durability of resistance against frost action on this concrete. From the test results, the designed compressive strength 500kg/cm2 is obtained in water cement ratio(w/c) about 35%, and the durability factor of frost resistance is improved in the lowered w/c. Then the kinds of aggregate and drying factor in curing process largely affect the frost resistance of high strength concrete. Therefore, the AE content of high strength concrete are necessarily needed in 4% for the safety. |
