Abstract This report is an experimental study on the influence of remained compressive strength of high heated concrete according to the cooling conditions. After heating four kinds of concrete(Fc=350~650kg/cm2) to be 60 months age during 60 minutes and 200~800 C temperature, we measured two conditions specimen to be cooled in the air and sudden cooled in the water. The experimental results are as follows.1. Although to be heated concrete in the same conditions, the sudden cooled concrete shows larger crack and higher rupture than to be cooled concrete in the air,2. The remained compressive strength of high heated concrete, the sudden cooled concrete is markable lower than the slow cooled concrete.3. The remained elastic modulus of high heated concrete, the sudden cooled concrete is lower than the slow cooled concrete. Therefore, the structural safety test for fire-damaged concrete in the building to be sudden cooled by extinguishing water have been estimated by the results of the slow cooling test so that method is considered to problems.
