A case study on the long-term maintenance plan of multiple housing |
| Abstract |
This stuyd examines the operational status of the long-term maintenance plan and the future expenses for a preventive management from apartment building deterioration. The data for this study were collected from twelve apartment complex in Seoul. Interviewees were management staffs of each apartment complex.The results from this study showed that the repair, in most case, was implemented to meet the occasional needrather than following the pre-planned long-term maintenance schedule and was taken place earlier than the standard of the Construction Department. Some plans for the long-term maintenance were existed without individual needs of each apartment complex. The maintenance fund for the future expenses of the apartment complex were far less than the requied amount. |
