Abstract Hyang-Gyo Architecture is a representative confucian architecture in Korea which has been constructed continuously from after the middle period of koryo age to the late 19C when the modernization was begun in the Korea Peninsula.Hyang-Gyo architecture is located within 3-4 ri from the center of Eup for an easy accessibility. The placement types of existing Hyang-Gyo architectures are divided into two;(1) Shrine in the front and school in the back,(2) School in the front and shrine in the back. In the axis of building, the single axis which is set with the meridian of the south and north is superior and appearance of the symmetrical factors according to the axis maximizes the balance and stability of the architecture. The building construction of Hyang-Gyo had Daesunjun and Myungryundang fundamentally and Dong.Seomu, Dong.Seojae, Nae.Woisammun, Jaekichung, and administrator, etc.
