Abstract The purpose of this study is to develope a thermal analysis method for the hydronic floor panel heating system.At first, the thermal analysis mothod, which use Response Factor Method for the calculation of transmission loss through walls and Gebhart's Absorption Factor Method for the calculation of radiant exchanges in a room, is suggested and the accuracy of this method is validated by comparing the theoretical results with the experimental ones. Secondly, the thermal environments of a model space are simulated according to the thickness of the thermal storage layer and heating conditions.
