Post Occupancy Evaluation for the Design and Planning of Apartment Housing in Pusan |
| Abstract |
The POE on apartment housing by residential satisfaction as a systematic evaluation is needed for future design and planning of apartment housing. So, the aim of this study is to find out the character of residents, to determine the possible misfits and to examine the relationships between environmental evaluation elements and residential satisfaction. For the purpose, the field experiments in Pusan have been carried out with 318 households living in apartments by plan types(2BL,3BL,4BL,and 5BL)which were classified by no. of bedrooms. The 44 evaluation-elements(Ei)and the 5 attributes(SFi)of housing environments offecting the residential satisfaction were evaluated and analyzed systematically. The residential satisfaction model was set up by the regression analysis which finds out the significant relationships among evaluation-elements and attributes on residential satisfaction framework. |
