| Abstract |
This study intends to offer a phenomenon on assimilation and contrast of color relating to human visual perception of the apartment buildings through case study under the hypothesis that requirements in planning of same color may vary according to its environment.After having investigated relationship between exterior color and environmental factors, the results are shown as follows;1. The exterior color is less influenced on environment in the morning and evening because its color is nearly neutral.2. During daytime when normal color is recognized, it is influenced by the surrounding environment and it becomes changed.3. The center of the city is influenced by artificial color, the riverside or a mountainous district are influenced by natural color.In conclusion, exterior color of buildings must be designed color fitted with environmental factors. |
