A Study on the Composition and Flexible Planning of the Component Housing |
| Abstract |
In the component housing system, building elements are composed of structural, enveloping components and environmental devices. For the related jobs being done smoothly by using the method of modular coordination in dimensional side and by performance design in environmental side, standardization of dimension, performance and joints between components or elements and building itself should be regulated integratedly. As a tool for higher productivity and better quality in building, modular design method should be developed and systemized. In this study, modular design process and flexible planning method of the component housing were developed with an apartment house design example. |
